Like most Australian language services, we charge by the number of words in the original document. Our translation rate will depend on 4 factors:

  1. complexity - there are two levels of complexity: standard texts including personal documents containing non-specialised terminology and technical, scientific or research material containing specialised terminology;
  2. urgency - for very urgent translations there is small surcharge;
  3. volume - high volume documents will attract a lower translation rate;
  4. ongoing - ongoing projects are always discounted.

The following rates exclude GST.  These rates are current, subject to viewing the documents and subject to change without notice.

NAATI certified Professional Translation (NAATI accreditation is needed in Australia for official purposes such as immigration, passports, professional registration, court, recognition of qualifications...)

Non-NAATI Professional Translation (is needed for company brochures, product manuals, business documentation, marketing material, corporate announcements, tenders, business cards, emails, personal letters, application forms...)
Minimum charge: $80 ex GST

Minimum charge: $70 ex GST

Rate per word: $0.4 ex GST ($40 / 100 words)

Rate per word: $0.20 to $0.35 ($20 to $35 / 100 words)

Minimum turnaround time: 4 working days

 Minimum turnaround time: 2 to 3 working days

2 to 3 day turnaround time: 30% surcharge

Next working day turnaround time: 30% surcharge
